What it is:
A plug in to multiply a single voice and make it sound like many
5 controls: # of voices, Variation of Pitch, Vibrato and Timing, Stereo Spread

Why I like it
-    Quickly does the work of 2 or 3 effects with one plug in
-    Sounds pretty decent for specific applications
-    Useful for special effects and weird tricks
-    Limited control set makes it easy to use and I don’t have to spend a lot of time tweaking to get something useful
-    Thickens up backing vocals
-    Instant Def Lepard Choruses
-    For a one trick pony, it does its trick pretty well

Why I don’t Like it
-    sometimes just sounds weird and un-natural
-    artists get weirded out by it / think it sounds too robotic
-    Can make instant Def Lepard Choruses
-    Only works in RTAS

Tips / Examples of Use
-    Most common use is with backing vocals and you want to double or triple track. Sometimes when I’m in a hurry and budget is tight, we don’t have time to sing the same part 4 or five times. Turning on the AVOX makes it pretty easy to get a larger sounding vocal from one decent take.
-    Using it on strings makes for a more orchestral effect
-    Putting it on other lead instruments makes a very strange effect
-    Stereo Spread control makes widening a mix much easier
-    Sounds kind of cool on lead vocals if you want to mangle things
-    A common trick to thicken backing vocals is to set up a micropitch shifter, a chorus or modulation delay, a couple of stereo delays with short returns and perhaps some duplication and offsetting of tracks. This plug in makes quick work by doing all of these things at once.
